The driver

Drivers are at the very heart of the service we provide passengers and represent 80% of the Group’s workforce alone. This is a perfect example of public transport jobs firmly rooted in the local area.

The vehicle is under the sole control of the driver. He is responsible for driving the vehicle smoothly, intuitively and ecologically.

He is in constant contact with the central control centre, reporting any operating incidents (passengers, traffic, accidents).

The driver also acts as a conductor, which means he manages sales of travel tickets and checks they have been correctly validated.

In addition to his duties, he checks his vehicle is technically sound and ready for service at the start of each shift.
